AriensCo EMEAA Leadership Change and Strategic Oversight
Jim Young, Chief Financial Officer of AriensCo, will take on the role of Executive Vice President EMEAA on an interim basis, following the departure of Jochen Schneider. Jim Young brings deep financial and operational expertise to the role and will work closely with Nick Ariens, President of AriensCo, and the Ariens family during the transition period.
“This change brings new energy and closer alignment between our global teams,” says Nick Ariens. “Jim and I will be alternating visits to the region every six weeks as we build the future of AriensCo EMEAA together.”

Renewed Investment in Brands and Products
The shift comes as AriensCo continues to invest in the region, with a strong focus on product innovation, brand positioning and channel growth. The launch of the AS 990 TAHR RC from AS-Motor and the Ariens SUMMIT PRO Series highlights the company’s forward momentum in the high-grass, slope, and commercial mowing segments.
"AS-Motor will continue to lead in the high grass mowing category with its strong German heritage, while Ariens will remain the driving force in zero-turn mowers and snow products," adds Nick Ariens.
Strengthening the EMEAA Vision
AriensCo is also reaffirming its strategic vision for EMEAA with continued investment in dealer partnerships, service infrastructure, and market share expansion. The positive reception of both brands at demopark 2025 underlined the growing strength and demand for reliable, high-performance equipment throughout the region.
“Together with our teams, we look forward to growing our product portfolio, expanding distribution channels, and reaching even more customers throughout Europe and beyond.”
The leadership transition is not only a structural step – it signals a renewed commitment to making the EMEAA region a core engine of global growth. AriensCo invites its dealer partners, suppliers and customers to embrace this new phase with optimism and confidence.
